Jobsearch Support for Newly Unemployed Professionals

As part of the Government’s response to the economic downturn, Ten Live Ltd is working in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to deliver specialist jobsearch support for Jobseekers Allowance (JSA) customers from professional / executive occupational backgrounds.

The provision is primarily aimed at unemployed people who have recently left a professional or executive job and claimed JSA. The service is also available to people engaged through the Job Centre Plus Rapid Response Service (RRS) who are under notice of redundancy or haven't yet claimed JSA.

Professionals and executives who lack the up to date jobsearch skills required to enable them to conduct effective jobsearch and/or who need advice on how to transfer or update their skills to secure relevant jobs will be referred to this service by Jobcentre Plus advisers.
